Privacy Policy

Welcome to the website www.algroup.it (the "Site"). We invite you to read our Privacy Policy, which applies when you browse the Site, regardless of whether you decide to use the services and/or purchase products. We also encourage you to read the General Terms of Use of the Site, as they contain information on privacy and security systems adopted by the Site. The processing of personal data of the site users will be carried out in Italy and in accordance with the applicable European regulations and the Code on the Protection of Personal Data (Legislative Decree no. 196 of June 30, 2003), which regulates the processing of personal data carried out by anyone residing or having a registered office in Italy.

The Policy

Every person has the right to the protection of their personal data. The Owner respects the right of users to be informed about the collection and processing of their personal data. We always aim to adhere to the principle of strict necessity in the processing of data that can identify you, even indirectly. For this reason, we have configured the Site so that the use of your personal data is minimized and in a way that excludes processing when the purposes pursued in individual cases can be achieved through the use of anonymous data or other methods that allow identification only when necessary or at the request of authorities and law enforcement. This Privacy Policy provides all the useful information to understand the methods of collection and use of information that identify the users of the Site.

Who processes the data, how, and for what purposes

The personal data provided on the Site will be processed by www.algroup.it exclusively to enable the execution of management, conclusion, and execution of commercial transactions related to the purchase of Products through the same site ("General Purposes"). Furthermore, with the explicit and specific consent of the user, the data may be processed for marketing activities and/or profiling of user habits and consumption choices ("Marketing Purposes" and, together with the General Purposes, the "Purposes"). The Owner decides the respective purposes and methods of the mentioned data processing and the tools to be used, including security profiling. To obtain the list of data processors, please contact Customer Service.

In particular, in pursuing the General Purposes, within the processes of purchasing Products on the Site, we collect personal data (such as, for example, personal data, email address, postal address, credit card, phone number) through the order form for the sale of products on the Site. Your personal data are mainly processed electronically, and in some cases, also in paper format, for example, when the processing of your data is necessary to prevent fraud on the Site.

Your personal data will be kept in a form that allows your identification for the time strictly necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and subsequently processed, and in any case, within the limits of the law. To ensure that your personal data are always accurate, up-to-date, complete, and relevant, we invite you to report any changes.

Subject to different provisions in this document, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for purposes not allowed by law or without your express consent. Your data are also made available to third parties, for ancillary and related purposes to the provision of services requested by the user (e.g., for transactions related to purchases). For details on this aspect, see what is said later in the paragraph "To whom do we disclose personal data". At any time, you can request and obtain an updated list of data controllers.

Your data may be communicated to the police or the judicial authority, for example, within the fraud prevention services of the Site, in compliance with the law and if required. Your data will also be accessible to the Data Processors, as indicated in this paragraph, and for the specific purposes indicated in the same paragraph.

Your personal data cannot be transferred abroad, to those countries outside the European Union, which do not ensure adequate levels of protection for individuals. If this is necessary to achieve the Purposes, we assure you that the transfer of your personal data to countries outside the European Union that do not ensure adequate levels of protection will only be carried out after the conclusion of specific contracts between the Owner and these parties, containing adequate safeguards for the protection of your personal data, in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The purposes for which your personal data are specifically known, from time to time, in the information text submitted on the page where the provision of personal data is required.

It may happen that the Owner processes personal data of third parties communicated directly by its users to the Owner, for example, when the user intends to recommend a service or product for sale on the Site to a friend, or when the user purchases a product to be delivered to a friend, or when the party paying the purchase price is different from the party to whom the product is shipped. In these cases, you are invited to obtain the consent of the person to whom the data refer before communicating them to the Owner and to inform them of this Privacy Policy because you will be solely responsible for the communication of information and data regarding third parties, without their express request, and for their incorrect or unlawful use. In any case, the Owner, within the limits prescribed by the law, will fulfill the obligation to inform the reported user and, if necessary, will request their express consent at the time of registration in their archives of the relevant personal data.

Failure to provide personal data and consequences

The provision of your personal data to the Owner and, in particular, personal data, your email address, postal address, credit/debit card, and bank details, and phone number, is necessary to achieve the General Purposes. Some of this data may be essential to fulfill obligations arising from laws or regulations or for the provision of other services provided on the Site and requested by you. The possible failure to provide certain necessary data, identified on the Site with an asterisk (*), could result in the impossibility of executing the purchase contract for products or properly fulfilling legal obligations and regulations. The failure to provide data may therefore constitute, depending on the cases, a legitimate and justified reason for not executing the purchase contract for products on the Site or for providing services through the Site correctly.

To whom do we disclose personal data

Personal data may be made available to third parties who act as data processors for specific services on behalf of the Owner or communicated to other recipients of data collected by the Owner, who process data autonomously only to execute the contract for the purchase of products on the Site (such as Stripe Inc., for the execution of payment services by credit/debit card) and only when this purpose is not incompatible with the purposes for which your data was collected and subsequently processed, and, in any case, in compliance with the law. Data will not be communicated, transferred, or otherwise transferred to other third parties without users being previously informed and, with their consent, when required by law.

How we collect your data on the site

The Owner collects personal data and other information within the online registration processes on the Site or when sending order forms to purchase products on the Site for the conclusion of electronic commerce transactions. This data is processed by the Owner within the limits and purposes outlined in the information provided to the user in the specific data collection section.

Security measures

We have adopted security measures to minimize the risks of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the data itself, unauthorized access, or unauthorized or non-compliant processing with the purposes of collection indicated in our Privacy Policy. However, since it is not possible to guarantee that the measures taken for the security of the Site and the transmission of data are absolutely infallible, the Owner cannot be held liable for events beyond its reasonable control; the Owner nonetheless undertakes to keep such measures constantly updated and adequate.

Your rights as a data subject

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you may at any time exercise the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access; the right to rectification; the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"); the right to restriction of processing; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing; and the right to withdraw any consent previously given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before such withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
